Snakes of Southern Africa

by FitzSimons, Vivian F M

Condition: Near Fine/No Jacket

Purnell and Sons (SA) Pty Limited, Cape Town / Johannesburg, 1962. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. Signed. 423 pages (complete). Signed by Vivian FitzSimons (the son of the legendary F W Fitzsimons who founded the Snake Park in Port Elizabeth among other achievements) on the title page. A most satisfying copy. The boards are sound. The back board has residue from the dustjacket (?). Otherwise, the boards are handsome, healthy. The contents are most pleasing throughout. They are very clean, very clear, very well ordered, neat, tidy, diligent, assiduous - as if almost new throughout! Please note that due to the weight of the book, should the book need be posted to outside of South Africa, extra postal charges may be required. fk
