Hardcover board book in dust jacket, illustrated boards and end papers. A collection of four stories for young readers: "The Sneetches," "The Zax," "Too Many Daves," and "What Was I Scared Of." 64 pages. The book and binding are in very good condition overall, and the boards remain bright. The interior of the book has some foxing on the end papers, there is shelf wear to the board edges and spine ends. The pages of the book have no writing or marks. There is light grease stain on the top corner of the title page and the first few pages.
The dust jacket is unclipped, with the original price 295/295 on the front flap. The back flap lists twenty books by Dr. Seuss including four in the Beginner Reader series. A recommendation by Rudolf Flesch is printed at the bottom of the back cover. The jacket is protected in a brodart cover, and has several small chips at the spine ends and corners, as well as creases and shelf wear.
The dust jacket is unclipped, with the original price 295/295 on the front flap. The back flap lists twenty books by Dr. Seuss including four in the Beginner Reader series.
