Author's inscription on ffep reads in full "For H__ J__, My Sabra Friend, Sincerely, Paul Gallico, LOCATION, Sept. 3 '63". Free end leaves have heavy foxing. Half title page also has light foxing. Text has slight yellowing throughout as well as scattered light rubbing. DJ has small tears and chipping at spine ends as well as slight scattered rubbing and chipping.; Signed by Author(s) .
Synopsis
Paul Gallico was born in New York in 1892. He became a minor celebrity as a sports writer and then began writing short stories for magazines. Gallico went on to write many more short stories and novels, including The Poseidon Adventure in 1969. He died in 1976.
