First edition; 6 x 4 1/2; pp. 3-63, [1]; light-brown wraps, printed in black; small nicks to tips of spine and a few faint smudges to wraps; uniform age-toning to pages; faint bookshop stamp to back wrap; in very good condition. Dmitrii Manuilsky (1883 - 1959) was a renowned Bolshevik revolutionary, educator, politician, and Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Comintern from 1926 until its dissolution in 1943. The current booklet presented an address, delivered by Manuilsky in response to a political report by Otto Bauer (1881 - 1938), co-founder and a major figure of the Left-Socialist Austromarxists, known for seeking a middle ground between social democracy and revolutionary socialism.
