Bradford Edition. While travelling through the United States from 1833 to 1835, Michel Chevalier sent letters back to Journal des Débats, which were published in several French editions in the following three years. The first English editon came out in 1839, translated from the third French editon by T. G. Bradford. This edition corrects errors in that edition. In Very Good Condition: cover is rubbed; lower corners creased; former owner's name on half title page; otherwise, clean and tight.
