Blue cloth binding with titles in ruled box with decoration on front cover in a darker blue, 80 pages, frontispiece portrait of author who was a Lieutenant in Seventh Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteers. First hand account of his experiences as a prisoner of the Civil War. Clean inside and out, excellent copy, unmarked, solid binding, front pastedowns partially cracked at inner edge, not in the gutter.
