Stated first edition limited to one thousand on inside flap on DJ. Fourteen stories and twonovelettes contained therein are by August Derleth believed to be his best work. ; Cover Art; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 335 pages.

Someone in the Dark is a collection of fantasy and horror short stories by author August Derleth. It was released in 1941 and was the second book published by Arkham House. 1,115 copies were printed. An additional 300 copies were printed by Hunter Publishing Co. in Winston-Salem, NC in 1965.
