VG/good, used, tan colored cloth binding with brown text to spine and upper, brown illustration of buffalo skull on upper, 284pp. Interior clean no marks except former owners gift inscription and date on the front paste-down, lengthy inscription by author and authors signature with date on the front free end-paper. Laid in loose is a bookmark that looks hand painted and states"Wyoming State Flower Sincerely Yours Lorah B. Chaffin". I can not tell is the signature on the book mark is real or printed. Also laid in loose is a postmarked(Story, WY 1942) post card addressed to the former owner and a short note on the reverse of card also signed by the author.
