About This Item

1903. Three color postcards, the first showing large crowds along an Adelaide boulevard, as Japanese troops march by. Many women and children spectators, as well as people leaning from second story windows, with Macarey Pharmaceutical Chemist shop clearly visible at number 66, postally unused. The two of Valentine's Series are Japanese warships, the "Japanese Battleship, "Yashima", and the "Japanese Cruiser, "Yoshino". The Yashima card posted, with a cancellation stamp from Adelaide, 1905; the other unused. Very slt rubbed at edges, otherwise very good condition.
