Ben Wittick, 1845-1903, was a pioneer photographer of the old Southwest. The photos reproduced here were selected from more than a thousand prints made from Wittick's original glass plates. This pictorial account of his travels shows the people of the Southwest between 1878 and 1900 when Arizona and New Mexico were still Territories. Small scribble on back cover, otherwise unmarked with average wear. Binding intact. A sound copy..
