Paris: Bon Marché. Hardcover. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. 36pp. No date but circa 1895. Brown flexible faux-leather, gilt lettering and decorative gilt border, gilt decorative endpapers, large color folding map with cloth ribbon tape for locating streets. Cover edges lightly rubbed, foxing mainly to first few pages, map is age-toned, but in very sound condition. A fascinating little guide book with a brief history and description of the department store, and several finely-detailed illustrations, including a bird's-eye view of the store.
