Book to accompany a benefit performance, November 7th, 1926. -- Includes advertisements, many portraits, a picture of siamese twins with musical instruments, several portraits in dance costume, and a caricature (signed Armand?) of George Moran and Charles Mack in blackface for "Earl Carroll Varieties." -- Hardcover, 9x12 inches, brown cloth with gold decoration on cover. Condition: very good minus (spine bit faded; black-out area rear pastedown; possible preliminary page removal). -- Nice snapshot of New York City philanthropy, as well as social concepts of humor, in the 1920s.
