This is a complete, six-volume set of The Spectator, introduced and annotated by the editor, with no date, but published in 1905/08 according to the British Library's catalog ; this edition is reproduced unabridged from the eight volumes published by John C. Nimmo in 1898, which were in turn printed from a copy of the original and collected edition published in 1712-15, with the exception that modern rules of spelling were followed; the first four volumes contain 100 letters each, the fifth volume 125 letters, the sixth volume 110 letters with appendices and index (olive green cloth with gold lettering and decoration on spine; most volumes worn at ends of spine, pages slightly tanned; otherwise these are good, clean, tight copies)
