Harper & Brothers, 1906. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. From the "New Club" Calcutta Library. The boards are shelf rubbed and edge worn but they remain strong and square in spite of this, with bright gold gilt to the spine. Internally, there is some light insect damage on the early pages, but this does not affect the legibility of the text in any way. One of the plates, "Koodoo Bull" on page 170, is missing, but all other plates are present and accounted for. There is light tanning throughout, but there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages remain crisp and complete. The binding is secure. JK
