Very light bumping to head and tail. Binding square and sound. Illustrated DJ shows wear to head, shallow chipping to tail and faint moisture stain to back panel. DJ now preserved in Brodart cover. Octavo: 21 x 15.5cm. Book 14 in the Asey Mayo Mystery series of 22 titles. Originally published in 1939, Norton reissued the series between 1961 and 1965.
