Farrar & Rinehart, NY, c.1943. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. ""History is here it is less the present than the past of the St. Johns (River), its gaudy and is well-nigh incredible past, which appears engaging. I choose to regard its history far less as a record of events, commerce, and of fruit raising, than as a pageant of strange persons passing, with Time as their drum major, beside its broad brown waters."" [Dust Jacket] 324 pages including bibliography and index. The book is in Fine condition; the dust jacket is Very Good with minor wear to the extremities and chipping at the top and bottom of the spine.
