Photographic endpapers, showing the stained-glass windows and their various meanings. The text is in illustrated with the aforementioned architectural drawings, black and white photography and some black-and-white illustrations. Red coloured boards with gilt coloured illustration and titles to the front panel and build coloured titles to the backstrip. Photographic dustwrapper purple, black and brown titles to the front panel and purple and black coloured titles to the backstrip.
