A signed first printing (with full number line on copyright page) of the author's page-turner, featuring his private investigator character, Spenser. Per the jacket flap, in this work Spencer is asked to help protect a Hollywood-based production team as they shoot their TV series on location in Boston. Signed, "Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx/all best/wishes" and with his initials on half title page in typical Parker fashion. --- In charcoal paper-covered boards with titling in gilt on spine. Jacket with director's chair and blood artwork and photographic portrait of the author by John Mottern. --- A clean, bright, newish copy lacking damages worthy of mention. Unclipped jacket is very nice, but with whitish blemish to cover & slight rubbing.; Octavo (8 to 9 in. tall); 256 pages; Signed by Author .
