Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1933. Gilt title to spine on red cloth boards which are clean and unmarked with just a little wear to spine head and tail and to lower corner tips. Internally there is a small name and year to front endpaper, some remnats of tape to endpapers and just a few marks also to endpapers else very clean, tight and unmarked. xii + 357 pages. Third edition (first was 1912). The book had its origins in a course of lectures given for a number of years in the Manchester University, but has received various additions and developments.
