Slightly cocked. FRONT PANEL OF DW pasted to front pastedown and DW blurb pasted to front endpaper.. 1st Edition. Hardback. nrVG/No DW.

Some foxing to first few pages. Spots on top and bottom of text block. More strange happenings on a Transatlantic liner, Wallace's favourite setting, apparently. According to his internet biography, Wallace is remembered for his Colonial snobbishness, his prodigious output, and his ability to gamble away even more money than he earned. This was his last novel, published in the year of his death. 252 pp..

Gilt all but rubbed away; slight fade to the spine; outer page edges lightly soiled. Signatures have started but the binding is sound. A reasonable copy of this author's final book.
