About This Item
New York: Simon and Schuster, 1970. Hardcover. Small 4to. Orange cloth. 79pp. 3 illustrations. Very good. First edition, a tight and clean copy bearing a nice presentation inscription on the front flyleaf from Herlihy to a next-door neighbor: "For Virginia / a birthday addition / to her 5-foot shelf / of Herlihy. / Love, / Jamie / 2/27/27-71 / Key West." Though lacking jacket, a quite decent first with a quite unique presentation inscription from the "Midnight Cowboy" novelist (1927-93).
