About This Item

South Brunswick and New York: A. S. Barnes and Company, 1969. 1969 American Edition, printing unstated. FINE in VERY GOOD price-intact dust jacket. A clean, unmarked and firmly bound copy. Pages fine. Ivory cloth hardcover is fresh and unworn, gilt titling on spine bright. Binding and hinges firm and straight. Unclipped jacket is clean; edges lightly toned. The back panel of jacket is moderately scuffed with small abrasions. There are no tears or chips. Gail Potter started collecting epitaphs found in New England graveyards. Several were intriguing enough to inspire her to do depthful research, revealing a wealth of knowledge on "the lives of those who lay beneath the stones." Here she presents several of the biographies. Generously illustrated with black & white photos. 7 x 10". 244 pages, including Bibliography and Index.. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good.
