The John Day Company, 1940. Hardcover. Very Good/Good Dust Jacket. This 1940 Pearl Buck children's book with dust jacket is in great shape! This hardcover book has some great color illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1940 as the only date. The dust jacket is in average condition - it is about 98% intact with some light chipping and there are several short closed tears. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
