Originally published by Milton Bradley under the title of The Dickey Bird, this is an attractive and scarce edition, printed on coated paper and illustrated by Tenggren with 5 incredible color plates, plus 13 full age and many in text fanciful pen and ink drawings by Carl Wehde. The story is a magical fantasy, and these are some of Tenggren's most beautiful illustrations.
