Hagerstown Bookbinding and Printing Co.. Soft cover. Very Good. VG/1960(cica) reprint. An great copy of this informative 32 page booklet on the Antietam battlefield, and surrounding area. Booklet contains a large full page b&w detailed map of the battefield, and many large b&w photos of the area before and after the Civil War. No photos of battle scenes or destruction from the war. Each photo has a lengthy caption describing the importance of the area pictured. Eight pages of stories told to editor Oliver T. Reilly by veterans of the battle. Lincoln's address at the dedication of the Gettysburg National Cemetery. Also the story of Antietam from the tablets erected by the battlefield Commission separated into Confederate and Union tablets. Booklet is clean with a couple of soiled spots on back cover. Stapled cover is tight, no marking, foxing or soiling to interior. No date for reprint, original copyrighted in 1906. I believe this copy to be circa 1960's.
