First edition; oblong 6 3/4 x 7 1/2; pp. [12]; chromolithographed, stiff wraps; small slit to tail of spine; thin cut to paper by lower staple (leaves still solidly attached); light wear and rubbing along edges; illustrated with chromolithographs and drawings in blue & orange; very good condition. An adorable, whimsical, early-20th century children's book, it folows the story of Dolly and Dan and their adventures in the land of the tiny Dimpledees, after the two had climbed a set of stairs they had found inside a hollow tree.
