Original green blind-stamped cloth, spine and topboard decorated and printed gilt & black (Fisk Jubilee Hall) rebacked by KTB retaining all of spine with corner reinforcement in acid free (AF) Hewit cloth, new headbands and Strathmore AF petal infusion endpapers. 12mo. pp. 265. Very Good. Light cover wear and soil, several small internal blemished. Owner stamps of C. S. Wallace dated 1/11/1888. October 1880 Cravath introduction of Fisk Jubilee Hall. Abridgment of two histories written by Rev. G. D. Pike with expanded personal histories, the German tour and additional numbered songs, 128 total. The first group was organized to raise money for Fisk University and the first tour was organized in 1871, with Jackson joining in 1872. She married Rev. A.J. DeHart of NashvilleÕs Jackson Street Church in 1884, so the 80th is ca. 1884-87 as Marsh who wrote the preface died in 1887. [75th is 1881; 88th is 1894]..
