Birmingham & London: Warrillows Ltd. Undated, circa 1925. VERY GOOD. A clean, unmarked copy. 8 delightful color plates by M. Morris (with one color illustration duplicated on front cover) and 10 full-page line illustrations by Thirkell Pearce. (Author not named.) Text and line drawings printed in green. Pages and plates are Near Fine. Cover, of pictorial paper over boards with a cloth spine strip, is clean and colorful. The spine cloth is sunned and worn with a few holes. Edges are lightly rubbed and the bottom of the front cover is scuffed; top front corner bumped. Boards have slight "yawn". Binding tender with a couple of short splits between two gatherings at top and bottom. Hinges intact, and all pages are secured. A lovely copy of a scarce book. 7-½ x 10"; 27 pages plus the 8 color plates.. Undated. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Morris, M. and Pearce, Thirkell. Small 4to.
