About This Item
New York: Jose Ferrer, 1945. Original Program . Oversize Paper. Original 16pg. souvenir program from the play that Lilllian Smith wrote based on her own novel about racial prejudice and segregation as seen through the eyes of a Southern white woman, (Ms. Smith). The play had a short run of only 60 perfromances and was directed by Jose Ferrer with a cast that included Mel Ferrer, Jane White, Juano Hernandez and Earl Jones (the father of James). Illustrated and with several printed signatures. The nice green covers are loose, the insides are fragile bu v.g. and uncommon.
