Clean pages except for modest toning throughout; no owners' marks; a slight relaxation of the binding stitches, but they remain secure; full blue cloth cover is dimmed along the spine and bears a few small, scattered, light-colored patches front and back, mild rubbing along the spine sides, shelfwear including some fraying at spine ends and two corners, and inward turns at the bottom free corners, otherwise clean and striking, in brown ink and silver and gold foil.
