About This Item

Toronto: McClelland & Stewart, 1973. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. Canadian Nature Classics. Full teal leather, gilt lettering and decoration to spine and front board. 400 pp. Slight sunning to top edge, a few small spots of wear to rear board. Dust jacket sunned at spine, bumped to edges, chipped to spine head and corners. The lives of three very different Ontarians are interwoven in this tale. Its themes of prejudice and ostracism, and the mingling of cultures and habitats have lost none of their relevance.
