"Limited Edition" on title page. Spine a trifle sunned, a very good copy in the original publisher's tissue jacket, heavily tape-repaired on spine & corners. The status of this issue is unknown; Goldstone & Sweetser 25, but apparently an unlisted variant of the binding.

¶ Includes ‘Strange Roads’ and ‘With the Gods in Spring’. Only the first essay is illustrated by Joseph Simpson; the second, with its own half-title and title leaf, bears the legend ‘Sketches by H.R. Millar’.
