Illustrator: Photographic. 650 g; XII, 376 pages, last two pages blank, includes bibliography, index, double page end page map of Spain on front end pages, a list of the Kings and Queens of Spain on the offset tanned rear end pages, a full-page colour photographic frontispiece, and three other full-page colour plates, and eight plates in black-and-white. The top edge of the text block is tinted a dark red. 1 plate appears to have been re-glued awry by previous owner, webbing of the binding visible at half title page.
