Streak O'Lean and a Streak O'Fat by Vincent, Joseph J - 1953

Tampa, Florida: Southern Historical Asscoiates, Publishers, 1953. Blue cloth with gilt stamping (lettering and decoration). Couple of tiny spots or stains to the fore-edge of the page block and dust jacket folds. Two dust jackets included with the book. One is illustrated with the same design found on the cloth covers and has a few small edge tears. The other has a different design on the front panel and shows some sticker shadow from three price stickers, edge wear, and some tape repair to a tear at the top edge. The jacket that matches the cover is protected in an archival sleeve. The alternative jacket will be placed underneath it. 109 pages with drawings by the illustrator. Inscribed to the previous owner and signed by the author on the front free endpaper. A collection of short pieces on various aspects of the hard struggles of the pioneers of Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas along the Gulf of Mexico Coast.. SIGNED. Hard Cover.
