Description:
Philadelphia, PA: University of Pennsylvania Press, 1988. First edition. Softcover. A paperback original. Introduction by John Irving. Text and photographs edited by Nancy Baker. Originally done as an article for Life Magazine this is a powerful collection of black and white images of "the street children of Seattle." Later it was adapted into a documentary directed by Mark's husband Martin Bell with the help of Mark and Cheryl McCall. A very good plus copy in photo-illustrated wrappers with some minute wear and from the library of the Visual Studies Workshop with their sticker to the verso of the rear cover and their rubberstamp and notation to the title page.
