The Struggle for Europe

by Wilmot, Chester

Condition: Good+/Good

New York: Harper and Brothers Publishers, 1952. Hardcover in non price-clipped dust-jacket, 766pp., Note on Sources, Index. Illustrated with maps. Early printing, though not a first impression. Dust-jacket protected by reinforced mylar covers that have been pasted to inside of front and rear boards. Ex-library copy? No library stamps, numbers or other marks, albeit both top and bottom edges stained black and evidence of label removal on dust-jacket spine, under mylar. It is our opinion this is an ex-library copy, most probably a reference copy. A clean, square, otherwise unmarked copy in a complete dust-jacket. An important overview of the struggle to defeat the Nazi's in Europe and the concomitant rise of a bi-polar East/West world as a result of political, if not military failures. Good+ in a good dust-jacket.. Hardcover. Good+/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
