About This Item

Saanichton, BC, Canada: Hancock House, 1976 An account of the Burns Lake B.C. area homesteaders between the two great wars. Green leatherette with blindstamped titling to front, gilt titling to spine, many black and white photographs, 148 pages. Some edge wear, a few brown spots to top of textblock edge, the name Eileen is written onto title page, light age darkening. Dust jacket shows edge and shelf wear with closed tears, missing chips, some creasing and two black stains. Besides the flaws it is bright and tight copy of a fascinating time period in British Columbia. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees. Canadian customers, please note that applicable sales taxes will be added. Please contact us with any questions you might have. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
