About This Item

New York: HarperCollins Publishers, 1993 Seth (1952-) is an Indian author who has lived in England, China, and California. He has written travel books, fiction, poetry, and childrens books. The sale item is his second fiction novel, following The Golden Gate from 1986. Dark gray paper boards bound at spine with black cloth; stated first American edition with full number line. Binding tight and square but page block has a tendency to pull away from spine because of the weight of the page block (1349 pages.) Unclipped dust jacket has minor bumping and a one inch repaired tear at top of spiine. Repairs have been made but the tear is still noticeable because of the black paper of the jacket. Because of the weight, this book will require postage for two books.
