Moncton, NB: Intercolonial Railway of Canada, 1913. Hardcover. Very good. 310, [6] p. 23 cm. Numerous b&w photographs and designs by the author. Half black leather with blue leather boards. Marbled endpapers and red text block edges. A few small marks and scuffs to outside. Some marks to tops of Contents and Title leaves as well as pp. 289-297.

Title continues: "A Description of the Vacation Resources of Eastern Quebec and the Maritime Provinces of Canada, in the territory served by the Canadian Government Railways:- Intercolonial Railway, Prince Edward Island RailwayHistory and sightseeing in the Maritime provinces in 1913." The author recommends trains, enjoyable water outings by steamboat, pleasant walks and drives. This practical information is interspersed with historical details and local folklore, from the days of the "Indians" to more recent settlers.
