First edition, first printing, first issue with 3 p's in "stoppped" on page 181. 259 pp. Bound in publisher's black cloth with bronze title labels. Good+ with chipping and wear to labels, cloth a bit softened and edge-worn, sunned spine, two former owners' names on paste down, binding a little shaken but holding. The first appearance of the classic modernist novel.
Synopsis
Based on real events and acquaintances of Hemingway, Sun Also Rises is about American and English expats in Pamplona.

This was the one book I never read from EH. I have to say it is an outstanding achievement of the human experience. What a book! Finishing it gives you a feeling of what's real, eternal and why our lives are full of contradictions.
