Good in Good DJ: The Book shows thirteen pages with margin lines and underlining erased, but showing faint evidence thereof; just a hint of wear to the extremities, except to the lower corner tips - the front tip is just starting to wear though the fabric; a small patch of sun blanching to the heel of the backstrip; the titles of which are also lightly rubbed; the top edge was tinted, or else it shows some dusing; the binding leans some, but remains perfectly secure; former owner's signature at the upper front free endpaper. The DJ shows small loss to chips and numerous tiny tears along the top edge of the panels and at the head and heel of the backstip; several tiny tears along the bottom edge of the front panel; starting to split along the rear hinge; moderate rubbing and very faint soiling; the price has not been clipped; mylar-protected. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.75 x 6 x 0.9 inches). 224 pages. Publisher's grey cloth with yellow title panel to spine. In original dust wrapper. Language: English. In this book Lewis tells of his search for joy, a spiritual journey that led him from the Christianity of his early youth into atheism and then back to Christianity. This book, together with his early diary All My Road Before Me, form the closest thing we have to an autobiography.
