First Edition, First printing. 8vo up to 9½" tall., 273 pp. Light mustard color cloth with blue birds and red titles to front and spine; top edge stained red; title page with red title with red underscore lines. Light crease to spine cloth and tiny small dot to top edge front board. Name to free endpaper, otherwise contents are fine without marks, tears or folds. First state unclipped dustjacket in very good condition, protected in mylar.
Synopsis
Sweet Thursday is a 1954 novel by John Steinbeck. It is a sequel to Cannery Row and set in the years after the end of World War II. According to the author, "Sweet Thursday" is the day after Lousy Wednesday and the day before Waiting Friday.
