Loss to foot and head of spine, slight loss to edges of rear cover. A couple of short tears todges. Spine slightly darkened. No repairs or restoration. Preserved in a removable jacket protector. Overall jacket condition is Good Plus. Book: First impression. First book in The Once and Future King Series. Black cloth binding, slight fading to spine, corresponding to sections of loss on jacket. Light foxing and a couple of small marks to page edges. Scattered light foxing to pages (mostly to margins), text is otherwise very clean throughout. Good solid binding. Overall book condition is Very Good. Size: 5.75 x 8 inches (14.5 x 20.5 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: 339
Synopsis
The Sword in the Stone is a novel by T. H. White, published in 1938, initially a stand-alone work but now the first part of a tetralogy The Once and Future King. Walt Disney Productions adapted the story to an animated film, and the BBC adapted it to radio.
