About This Item

Beatrix Potter - The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher

Copyright 1906 by Frederick Warne & Co

There is damage and some loss to the spine cover, though because the spine covers are frequently missing, this is very good to be present even as it is. There is a dark mark towards the top left corner of the front cover, there is a small mark near the leading edge, and I think these are old ink marks, the back has no marks, and the corners are rubbed. There are faint pencil marks on the interior of the front board and the name 'Molly' written in a child's hand in pencil on the first endpaper, this name is written again twice on the plain back of the frontispiece. There are no other marks. Slight looseness. 85 pages including plates all present and correct. Greeny, blue grey covers, end plates have brown and white cats.
