About This Item

London: Michael Joseph, 1961. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. A Near-fine copy in a very good unclipped dustjacket. This copy is signed by Condon directly on the title page--signature only. A tight and clean copy with only an owner very small printed sticker residue to the front free endpaper. The dustjacket is unclipped and has moderate toning to the spine--edgewear to the extremities and a few small closed end tears--but still quite lovely front and back panel. A Western comedy involving two men and a spirited woman. Made into a Richard Widmark movie that Condon wrote the screenplay for.
