London: Saturn Press, 1951 First edition. HB. Blue cloth with red title and cockrell motif, and pictorial dustjacket from painting by Hein Heckroth, who designed the ballet. 96pp, quarto. Illustrated with 4 colour plates of photos, as well as b&w photos in text including the directors Powell and Pressburger as well as Thomas Beecham, Moira Shearer, Robert Helpman and Massine. The same author's Red Shoes book in similar format also available from this seller. Very Good book in Fair jacket. Fade to spine areas of cover where jacket has losses, and light browning to endpapers with owner's name to flyleaf. Jacket has small losses to spine ends and edges, and large closed tear right across front panel.
