Large 8vo, full ivory cloth stamped in pictorial gilt, illustrated with 17 mounted full page color plates with captioned tissue guards and mounted color chapter head art by Charles Robinson. Top edge gilt. Mild toning to pictorial endpapers else a lovely bright copy with tiny bumps to tips, no previous ownership markings. Each plate is mounted with a gold border. Amongst an abundance of beautifully illustrated books of Robinson's, this stands out. The spine gilt with the full title and a large gnome is a delight; the cover, also all in gilt, is a delicate work with a princess and elaborate borders filled with more characters. The endpapers feature trolls with mining tools, all in gilt. The title page is again elaborately drawn. Vignettes are everywhere throughout the text. It's a charmer and one of our favorite Charles Robinson books.

Square 16mo, illustrated boards, illustrated in color throughout by Tony Ross. 600 mice in Napoleonic era uniforms vs. cats. signed by both Stone and Ross on the title page. Laid in is a limited edition print of the music and lyrics to an accompanying song, loosely based on the original poem with lyrics by Stone and music by T.W. Southam, this one of the 400 unsigned copies of the 500 total.

Illustrated with 12 charming tissue-guarded color plates and numerous line drawings by the 16-year-old Jacynth Parsons with a prefatory letter by William Butler Yeats extolling her artwork. The year this book was published the Medici Society put on a well-received exhibition of her "pictures from the age of 3 to 16." Slightly cocked, else fine, no previous owner's marks.

Upwards of 300 illustrations, from tiny vignettes of plant life and idols, to full page illustrations of battles. The authentic costumes are terrific. Hard as it is for us to believe, it looks like all the art is indeed by Henderson. Blind-stamped cover titles and small design, spine titles and another vignette in gilt. Top edge gilt. Uncut. Heavy beveled covers. Endpaper maps different front and rear, repeated in each volume. Fully indexed.

Robinson, Charles. 1st trade ed., 4to, full green decorated cloth, illustrated endpapers and 18 mounted, tissue-guarded color plates by Charles Robinson, as well as many spot illustrations in line and two colors. Printed entirely on heavy, glossy paper. Separating slightly at a few signatures, bump to bottom of spine, and previous owner touched up the color on on the tips and lower spine edge. Still a nice, bright copy without previous owner's marks, with bright pictorial embossed gilt on the spine and cover. One of Robinson's most wonderfully decorative covers. In a reconstituted pictorial dust wrapper illustrated front and rear with the same artwork, printed in black. Scarce in jacket—this one is split at the spine and is missing the lower half of the spine and a 1/2 inch at the top. Except for a 1/2" chip to the top rear corner, and a bit more loss along the edge, both covers and flaps are complete.
