Tanglewood Tales has the original pictorial grey binding with red lettering and illustrations to the front board and spine. The binding is in Very Good condition with light marks to the front board and back board, discolouration to the spine, very slight corner knocks, and very slight wear to the top and bottom of the spine. The Edmund Dulac illustration and lettering to the front board is still very bright and this is a very attractive binding for this collectable Edmund Dulac Tanglewood Tales book. There are attractive illustrated double page front endpapers and rear endpapers designed by Edmund Dulac that matches the design to the front board. There is a “This Book Belongs To” box to the front pastedown that has not been filled in and has been left blank. The pages are in overall Very Good condition with very light age toning and spotting but with the plates on the glossy paper remaining free of even these minor defects.
