Gift inscription opposite. Fine copy in near fine DJ which has some fading to yellow of spine. First printing with full number line, brown boards with gilt stamped spine. Differs from Hare T146 in that this has 6 gatherings, not 7. Still has 10 stiches top sewn, half-title preceeds title page. Variant of the first state, precedence unknown. DJ clipped at top corner of flap.
