BG5 - A tight, clean, sound copy with very minor overall shelf wear with some tape staining on the outside surfaces of the front and back boards from where the dust jacket was taped to the boards plus there are the usual library stamps, labels, and pocket on the top and bottom outside paper edges, the front free endpaper, the title page, and the copyright page. The dust ajcket shows only very minor overall shelf wear plus it is still in the original library mylar sleeve. Translated from the Russian by Marian Schwartz. A collection of six short novels by a noted Russian émigré novelest which were originally published in Europe from the late thirties to the fifties. The storys are about men and women who have all lost their lives of privilege in Russia and now live in diminished circumstances in Paris. 308p.. First American Edition Thus. Hard Cover.
